Can you answer Marie B’s question about Grants?:
I was told being a women I am a minority and there are grants available to me. There is such a vast amount of information on the web i was wondering if someone was able to narrow my search.

Grants Feedback:
Grants Feedback: it’s called loan. if you were a not for prifit business i’m sure there were grants. don’t use being a woman as an excuse. that goes against the woman’s movement.
Grants Feedback: has all government grants available. However I don’t believe there any grants specifically for women. You’d be better off checking with women’s organizations for something like that.
Grants Feedback: here is one site:
also check with sba.gov- they may have info on their site about it also.
Good luck.
Grants Feedback: There are essentially only 3 sources for grants.
Federal grants are called Small Business Innovation Research grants. These are given primarily for some new innovation. You can find out what’s available at. There is also info on this site about how to apply.
Some cities offer grants to small businesses if they will locate in the downtown area, for the purposes of building up downtown traffic. Check with City Hall.
Finally, private foundations offer grants. You can get a list of most US Foundations and private grant sources at.
